This winter, we introduced a new winter beer, appropriately named Crafter’s Spirit, since this limited edition, with its various spices, dried fruits (apricot, plum and raisin), cinnamon and first class vanilla truly represents the spirit of winter!
Our master brewer, beer designer and the person in charge of the brewing process, Silvije Boroša-Sergio, is a “hot shot” well known on the Croatian home-brewing scene. He’s been home brewing and experimenting with beer styles and flavours for years. This is what he had to say about this delicious beer:
„Even though our winter beer is based on 'Scotch Ale' and even though it has 8% ABV, its alcohol level is barely felt and it’s very drinkable. The secret is in its precisely balanced ingredients and in the cinnamon and vanilla sticks used for additional flavouring after fermentation.".

All those who tasted the winter beer at its presentation in Tkalča’s History bar this winter, including true beer experts, found the beer, with its simply fascinating, festive flavour, to be extremely drinkable. To complete the experience, we provided jam rolls (using jams made of the same fruit used for the winter beer). We also offered a selection of cheeses to balance out the flavours, since we couldn’t let this event pass without tasting our other beers.
